Who are Amigo Loans?

We built Amigo Loans because we were frustrated that ordinary, good, honest people were unfairly being refused money by the banks. As long as you can afford the repayments and can provide a guarantor, we can lend to you. We know if your friends and family trust you, we can too - after all - they know you way better than a computerised score ever will.

A guarantor is someone who is aged 21-75, has a good credit history with no trouble paying bills in the past, and who can afford to make the monthly payments if you don't.

We can offer you a loan from £1,000 - £10,000 over terms between 12 and 60 months, at an APR of 49.9% (variable). Our flexible guarantor loans are around a 30th of the APR of a payday loan and are regularly featured by price comparison sites as one of the cheapest options for anyone borrowing £1,000-£10,000 with a low credit score, even if you are not a homeowner.
